Hello! I'm Nuria, a psychologist and behavior analyst. I am from Andalusia, Spain although I am currently based in the Netherlands, in the small but charming city of Delft. I'm passionate about the field of Psychology and understanding how our behavior works as human beings (everything we do, feel, and think). For this reason, I continue to educate myself continuously in this field.

This is a safe space for you to take the first step toward beginning your therapeutic process. It's a judgment-free space where I would love to accompany you in your personal journey and where I work with the utmost rigor.

I have experience working with adults, children, and adolescents and I offer services in both English and Spanish.

About me

I work from a behavioral approach using behavior analysis as my primary explanatory tool. From this perspective, we understand that people exist and behave in a specific context, which plays a fundamental role in who we are. Our learning history and our interactions are part of this context too. Thus, psychological problems are simply attempts to adapt to the context in which we live and develop.

In therapy, we will work to identify those patterns that are not being helpful in the long term and how to modify them to orient them toward a life that is meaningful to you. To achieve this, there will be an assessment period, followed by feedback and an intervention plan that can be adapted to new needs that arise during the process.

As a professional, I understand the worry that can come from not knowing whether you'll have the connection or the desired feeling with your therapist. That's why I always offer a completely free initial session so we can get to know each other, chat, and later on you can make the decision to begin your process with me or not, with no obligation.
